Super-dumb, but urgent question:In Automix, playing in Shuffle Mode, how do I see my Playlist and choose songs that I would like to play next? In DJay 1, it was an easy drag and drop process because my selected playlist was always visible at the bottom of the screen.
I was having the same problem, but it turns out I was adding things to the standard queue and the Automix player does not look at the standard queue. The automix player only looks at the automix queue.
Hi, make sure you are adding your songs to the automix queue and not just the standard. I was having the same problem. Right clicking on songs and selecting add to queue does not add to the Automix queue. You will manually have to drag and drop songs into the Automix queue.
Hey folks, does anybody know if the automix session and also the automix queue does have some hotkeys to go through? so how do I get some tracks into the automix queue and how can I let Djaypro play those selected tracks (without using a mouse/trackpad)?and how will I return back to the standard decks and the queues for the decks I am using?Thank you in advance!

Algoriddim has been really on top of leveraging Apple Silicon over the last year and a new update today of its djay Pro app for iPhone and iPad is further improving its Automix AI transition feature, Neural Mix gains more powerful isolation, and more.
In a performance setting this allows djay users to temporarily leave the decks, whilst keeping the mix alive. The feature also allows casual music fans to play full automated DJ sets, loaded with all of their favourite tracks, live, on-the-fly and without any additional user interaction.
Does anyone know of an app where I can make a playlist and the app can automatically mix the songs for me? I would like to do this so I can play music at a party and get people to dance. Does anyone know of such an app that is accessible? Thanks
You can change the round number, length the song is played, the transition sounds, etc. via a picker item found at the bottom of the screen. To create your playlist, double tap the power button in the upper lefthand corner. All playlist controls are here. For example, if you want to change the rounds to include 120 songs instead of the devault 60 songs, then double tap the 60, not the word "Rounds". This in tern will activate the picker item at the bottom of the screen. Flick up/down to change the number of rounds. Then click done. Alternatively, each item that can be changed has an unlabeled button next to it that also pops open the picker item. I like selecting the actual item, instead. Be sure to select a playlist that has a very large song count to get the best results. I really like this app.
I would love to hear a podcast on djay 2 for Iphone also. I figured out how to automix, but what if I want to skip back and forth through songs, as I do in the stock Music app. Djay 2 looks very promising though, and thanks for any input.
Hi Augustu, my main question is, when I do an automix and use a playlist, is there a way to skip through the songs, say if one comes up that you don't like or hear constantly? Is there a better way to mix than using automix? Any help would be appreciated.
It's exciting to enjoy Spotify's Automix feature with playlists here. However, no every playlist supports Automix. In our experience, Automix only works on a select few and generally have a distinct visual style. There's no way to enable this feature on random playlists. But there's the solution to find Automix playlists on Spotify. If you're interested, you can try to follow these steps to discover your love on Spotify.
Make sure the playlist you're playing supports Automix and your device is used to consume the selected playlist (at this time you're listening on your device). On either desktop and mobile, you're able to turn it on or off to make a difference.
If you wish to get rid of the awkward pause that happens at the end of any Spotify song before the next one starts to play, you must need the Crossfade feature. Spotify's Crossfade feature is designed for all users to make for a seamless listening experience. Even if the playlists you favorited don't have the convenient Automix feature, you can still make the full use of the Crossfade feature to let songs fade out as another fade in.
If you wish to enjoy a Party Like mode on Spotify to listen to your favorite songs or playlists with your friends, especially when you're not physically with them, you can choose either to start a Group Session to listen together on Spotify, or create a Blend to mix a new playlist with them.

But how can you create flawless playlists without any dead air? Nobody wants to be enjoying the music just for it to stop because the song has a dragged-out outro or because the next song has an unusually long intro. Join us as we take a look at how to create a playlist using automix features in Virtual DJ.

DJs are tactile people. They want to feel the scratch and turn the knobs. The new Algoriddim djay Pro app for Windows 10 ($139.00 at Microsoft Store)(Opens in a new window) , with its support for Microsoft's Surface Dial and the new Surface Studio all-in-one PC, fulfills those needs. The app has been available for iOS and macOS for several years, but the Surface Studio is uniquely suited to djay Pro, providing both the visual and tactile interfaces that bring this very cool software's capabilities to the fore.
The only way to get the Dial-compatible app is as a $49.99 Windows Store purchase. You can get plenty of other DJ apps there, and most are $4.99 or less. But djay Pro is on a far different plane, as its name suggest. It's suitable for professional DJs, and is priced more along the lines of Serato(Opens in a new window), a popular competitor, which starts at $50 and goes up to $300 for its entire squadron of effects and tools. Djay, too, can cost more than the initial price, as it offers in-app filter effect purchases.
Along the bottom of the screen are your song sources. As soon as you open the app, you'll see music listed as potential scratch fodder along the bottom of the window. You can access Windows Media Player playlists, find any music files in on-disk folders, and even search for songs. But who uses local music files anymore? Luckily, buttons let you switch the song list to your Spotify or iTunes libraries. It doesn't let you add your Groove or SoundCloud libraries, though competitor edjing 5 does the latter seamlessly. To get your iTunes Library to show up in djay Pro, you open iTunes' applications setting and enable XML sharing. And to hook up your Spotify tunage, you need a Premium account. 2b1af7f3a8
