Forza Horizon 4 is a perennially wonderful Xbox Game Studios racing game series, and this year's new installment continues that tradition. Forza Horizon 5 is in many ways just as insane as its predecessor, though it also offers ups and downs (which, frankly, are welcome). Forza Horizon 5 tasks you with winning cash and glory in racing, stunt driving, and drifting events within a colorful Mexico city, all while blaring the latest tunes. It's a blast.

It's been more than two years since Forza Horizon 4 first arrived, and the racing game is now entering its third major expansion. In Forza Horizon 5, you get more exhilarating open-world racing in what developer Turn10 Studios calls a "full-blown extravaganza." The added content includes new mods, such as the Event Lab, new customizable vehicles, 20 events, new items like motorcycles, and slick new driving abilities that let you slow down, accelerate on one wheel, and also accelerate on cornering.

Forza Horizon 3 heralded a new era of gameplay for the racing series. The exciting Forza 5 DLC includes tons of new Events, tricks, and cars in 272 locations. Playable on a variety of surfaces, Forza Horizon lives up to its name and is a place where driving is a rite of passage. Mountainous surfaces, raging seas, and snowy trails make every race a new adventure.

Playground Games has a good thing going with the Forza Horizon series, and just when we thought it couldn't get any better, it does.
