If you have received a new floating license from us you need to replace it in the Luxion License Server. There is no need for updating it in the Network Rendering Configurator, as the License Server will handle everything.

The Last thing you will need to do is open the Luxion License configurator navigate to the install license tab and click new license. Make sure to have the new license in an easily accessible place like your desktop. Once the new license is installed click Read license. When the license has been read click start service and the License will be activated. You can check status to make sure there are no errors with the connection to the license server.

If your computer does not have internet access, an offline activation process is available. After loading your license file you will be given the opportunity to save an activation request file to your computer. Simple put it on a USB stick and visit from any computer that does have internet access. Following the instructions on that web page will create an activation file. Download the file and save it to your USB stick. The ZBrush to KeyShot Bridge activation window will allow you to load that file from the USB stick and complete the activation.

Yes thanks SwampGhost and Fishjelly i have find that too on an other post and the .zlic works well on mac too.There just one thing, why when i downloaded the licence there is no .lic or .Zlic after the name that is really weird.otherwise that work well no so i just need to find a good tuto for understand how works keyshot and discover all the possibilities of this incredible bridge and soft>MANY THANKS GUYS !!bestJB

FlexNet is a common software license manager from Flexera Software. It is utilized by many companies including PTC to implement license management and is intended to provide multiple end users access to PTC products. FlexNet licensing can be used to create both floating licenses and node-locked licenses and all PTC FlexNet Licenses are based off of the PTC_HOSTID

A floating license refers to a licensing scheme where the permission to execute the PTC product is controlled by the FlexNet server (the PTC License Server). In the FlexNet server environment any machine configured as a client will be allowed to use floating licenses until the number of licenses purchased has been exhausted. The license.dat file may be configured with any number of the following 3 floating license types: Licenses-to-run, Floating Options and Startup Extensions. The installation of a floating license(s) requires an authorization string, which is specific to the number of licenses (seats) purchased, the expiration date and the PTC_HOSTID for the machine that will run the FlexNet server program. This information is encrypted within the license.dat and any unintentional tampering of this string may cause the floating license to become invalid

A locked, node-locked or fixed license is a license file configured specifically for use by a single client machine. These may come with any number of features attached as Licenses-to-run, or Startup Extensions. A PTC application configured to a locked license file would not require connecting to a FlexNet License Server but would ONLY allow the PTC applications to run on the specific machine for which the license was built.

Hello guys i have finally recieved the link for the keyshot bridge and the code for keyshot for mac. but there is no link to download the keyshot for Zbrush so i went on the keyshot websiteand i have downloaded the keyshot for mac.After once it was downloaded, I tried to open the installer but I received each time I tried an error message that tells me the installer is damaged (see screenshot below)

I ran into the same thing installing on windows. I had to right click the install file and run as administrator. I think mac has an equivalent. Also after much frustration. I read the Keyshot manual and found out in order to run on two machines you have to deactivate the license on the active machine then activate it on the other one using the serial.
